I know exactly how you feel! I struggled with weight for many years even being in the wellness industry. Guess what? There are no magic pills and no magic diets.

The magic is in creating a healthy lifestyle that will give you short-term and long-term results. You are probably saying yeah great, heard that before, but what does that actually look like??


5 Tips to Losing Weight and Keeping it Off

  1. Ditch the diet mentality! I talk with clients all the time about this. Instead of thinking you are depriving yourself for not eating that bag of chips or chocolate cake…switch the mindset! You are rewarding yourself by making the choice to eat other foods so you will feel better, lose weight, whatever your goal is.
  2. Eat approximately every 3 hours. This way you are fueling your body and not going into starvation mode.
  3. Drink 64 oz of water evenly spaced throughout the day. By the time you are thirsty you are already dehydrated.
  4. Stay off the sugar roller coaster Eat protein and carbs mostly from veggies and essential fat. Stay away from the rice, pasta, breads and cereals.   5. Planning and preparation  Plan ahead for what you need at the grocery store. Cut and clean the veggies ahead of time. Cook once, eat 2 or 3 times. Anything to save time!
