Do you ever have those days or moments where you don’t feel like it? I’m here to tell you, you’re not alone! We all get those feelings sometimes, and it’s okay. However, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to do “it” anyway…if you don’t, how will you feel afterwards? Not very good right?
Whether your “it” that you don’t feel like doing is planning & prepping your meals, going to work out, going to work, picking up the phone to make a connection,….I could go on and on right?! So what do you do or how do you move through those feelings and do “it” anyway?
3 Ways to Defeat the “I Don’t Feel It” feeling
1. Keep your eye on your prize. Knowing why are doing things, the reasons behind why you have these items on your do to list will totally help you. This morning I was speaking with one of my business partners & she shared she was having some stomach pain & having some testing done. She said “I really hope I’m not allergic to gluten because that will be really hard to stay away from. I offered her a Mindset shift and said “What if not eating gluten made your stomach pains go away & you actually felt better?!” So for this example, her why is to feel better. Staying focused on that will make it way easier for her to make the choices to achieve that goal of feeling better. You can apply this to ANYTHING in your life.
2. Do “It” Anyway. Seriously, sometimes it can be just that easy. Do it anyway, and know that when you do, you will feel SO good about yourself after. When you feel good, you are more likely to keep moving forward. Who want’s to stay stuck right?
3. Surround yourself with people who inspire you & lift you up. This is essential! Having peeps that motivate you to be the best person you can be, really helps. When you know that people have your back & support, you feel like you can do anything!
